Description
The New Vehicle Communication Module 3 (VCM 3) is the latest generation of the IDS & GFDRS Vehicle Communication Interface supporting all current European production vehicles and is future-proofed with CAN-FD and DoIP communication protocols. The VCM3 features a new backup capacitor keeping the VCI powered up during low voltage conditions.

1.FDRS/IDS Subscription
The IDS licence is a twelve-month licence paid upfront allowing access to the diagnostic network. This gives the ability to update software, add keys, adaptation like EGR or injector when parts are replaced.The licence will activate IDS and FDRS, but this will NOT cover any Security programming.

2.Security functions not covered in licence

Fitting New Engine ECU – PCM, Body Control Module – BCM, Instrument cluster IPC, Remote function actuator – RFA, Keyless vehicle module – KVM, anti-lock brakes – ABS, and key coding
